Mouth-Watering Meatloaf
INGREDIENTS

– 340 g (3/4 lb) of ground beef or veal

– 1 large egg, lightly beaten

– 8 ml (1/2 tbsp) salt

– 1/2 finely chopped onion

– Ground nutmeg or mace: a pinch

– Ground cloves: a pinch

– 3 ml (1/2 tsp.) of Savory

– 125 g (4 1/2 oz) of salted bacon or ham, chopped

– 1/2 cup (125 ml) of bread crumbs or cracker crumbs

– 1/4 cup of a lemon (for juice)

– 1/4 cup (65 ml) of hot tomato juice

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 :

You’ll want fist to put the ground beef, eggs, salt, onion, nutmeg, clove, savory, salted bacon, breadcrumbs and lemon juice in a bowl. Afterwards, make sure to mix with your hands until the preparation is homogeneous. Immediately spread by pressing into a loaf pan.

STEP 2 :

Alright now, you can bake at 350 ° F (175 ° C) 2 hours and please baste several times with hot tomato juice.
